Charity Single/Music Video released by Walter Senko

By: Tara Thompson

Daycare Records artist Walter Senko and Skate4Cancer founder Rob Dyer have teamed up this holiday season to raise money for Wellspring Cancer Support Network. The song, We Are The Cure, was co-written by Walter and Cone McCaslin of Sum 41, who also produced the track. A portion of all sales from the song will go to Wellspring Cancer Support Network which is the organization that Dyer recently biked from Toronto to New Orleans in support of.

The video for We Are The Cure was shot at Skate4Cancers pop up shop in downtown Toronto and was co-directed by Phil Prieur and Karen Bliss. The song was mixed by Juno award winner Eric Ratz (Billy Talent, Sarah Slean). Senko wrote the song after learning how Dyer tuned the loss of his mother, grandmother and best friend all to cancer into a positive message that he’s spreading internationally.
