The Wooden Sky are bringing back their annual holiday revue for it’s 5th year. On Tuesday, December 16th, the band will be joining forces with Jon Hynes Smoke Show to help raise money for the Daily Bread Food Bank. In the past four years the band have raised over $8,000 and are hoping to reach $10,000 with this show.
There’s a new addition to the revue this year, the Holiday Market. The Wooden Sky have gathered a group of local artist who will have their goods for sale during the show. Snacks and refreshments will also be available for purchase from Toronto cafe, Hello Darling.
The event will be happening in Toronto at 918 Bathurst (918 Bathurst St., two blocks north of Bloor). Tickets are $20 with all proceeds going to the Daily Bread Food Bank. They are available at www.universe.com and in-store at Rotate This and Soundscapes. Bringing a non-perishable food item is encouraged to those attending.

I’m Tara and I’m a graphic designer from Newfoundland. I am very fortunate to live in a city where there is a ton of amazing musicians. I’ve grown very fond of the local music scene in St. John’s and some of my favorite bands are ones I’ve met through going to local shows.
