Feature Friday – London Above

St. John’s alternative rock band, London Above released their debut EP, Creatures, this February. The band consists of Elliott Butt, Chris Morrison, Harry Parsons and Dan Greene.
The band placed in the top 10 of the CBC Searchlight contest for Newfoundland with the title track, Creatures.
They are set to head out on their first tour in September, covering most of the Atlantic provinces. Check out those dates on their Facebook page. Along with those dates, they’re playing in France this weekend… St. Pierre that is.
If you don’t know London Above, I highly suggest you checking them out. If you can get to one of their tour dates, definitely go. You won’t be disappointed.

I’m Tara and I’m a graphic designer from Newfoundland. I am very fortunate to live in a city where there is a ton of amazing musicians. I’ve grown very fond of the local music scene in St. John’s and some of my favorite bands are ones I’ve met through going to local shows.
