Dominique Fricot is a multigenre singer-songwriter from Vancouver, BC. Fricot released his first EP entitled “If Baby Could Walk” in 2012. He is back with his second release, his first full-length, “Sweet Little Fantasy” to be released on June 17, 2014.

When listening to “Sweet Little Fantasy”, I was drawn to the variety contained within the record. There are songs for a multitude of moods and songs that are perfect for both hanging out and wanting to get up and dance. The songs that stood out for me on “Sweet Little Fantasy” were the lead single “I Miss The 80’s”, “Granville Bridge”, and “Mother’s Day.”

Overall, “Sweet Little Fantasy” is a solid album. It is enjoyable to listen to. I would recommend listening to “I Miss The 80’s” and “Granville Bridge” to get a taste of the album. If you enjoy the tracks, I would definitely pick up the full album.

Rating 4/5
