Comment se passe ton expérience à The Voice France jusqu’à maintenant?

Lors de ton audition à l’aveugle, tu as interpréter Ain’t no sunshine.

C’est mon but!

Tu as l’avenir devant toi.

Ton meilleur souvenir d’enfance?

CS : Pas vraiment! Je jouais à la ringuette avant. J’étais très athlétique au secondaire.

Quelle chanson te décrit le mieux?

CS : Je pense que Don’ t Think Twice It’ s Alright de Bob Dylan me représente bien.

How is your experience on “The Voice France” so far?

CS : So far it’s going great. It is in a very different context and it pushes me to get me out of my comfort zone.

What pushed you to choose Mika as a coach?

CS: Mika has put much emphasis on the fact that he saw a future for me after The Voice. In addition, I am a singer- songwriter like him and I really aspire to launch a career with my own songs.

At your first audition, you sang  “Ain’t no sunshine”, did you expected that four judges would turn for you? What was your reaction?

CS : Not at all ! I said I would go on stage with no waiting. But when I saw that the 4 judges turned for me, I was really surprised.

What is your biggest musical inspiration?

CS : Probably Bob Dylan. He inspires me with his lyrics and beautiful melodies.

With two albums (EP) to your name, you are already a songwriter and performer and you’re only 19. When do you plan to release a new album?

CS : I hope to release a full album in 2015. It is my goal!

How (and when) did you find your love for music?

CS: At the age of 12, my grandparents gave me a guitar and I started to practice a lot. At first it was just a hobby, but it quickly turned into a passion. I have always loved to write, I could combine my two passions with time to finally be singer- songwriter.

Having already participated in several music competitions, we can say that you have experience in these kinds of competitions. Did The Voice France represent an opportunity to dismantle the whole experience you have gained during all these years?

CS : Not really for people , but to myself . When people approached me to get in this adventure, I thought it was a great opportunity, not only for my career but for a challenge. I try to challenge myself and I work hard to win as much as I can with this crazy experience.

You are an inspiration for Acadians, is there any Acadian artists who inspired you during your musical career ?

CS: I’ve always admired Acadian artists in general. I think it is well represented by the arts community. Marie- Jo Thério , for example, is the aunt of one of my good friends, so I knew her since I was young. And I’ve always admired the way she performs and she looks to people. But I could name several.

Already at your age, you’re a girl with so much talent. You have a great future ahead of you. Where do you see yourself in 10 years? Does music mean a future career to you, or a passion?

CS : Both. I really want my music to live as long as I can. It is a privilege to live his passion and this is what makes me happiest . In 10 years I hope to live my music and still have that flame that burns inside of me !

The following questions will help your fans to know you a little better :

What is your favorite food?

CS : Chinese

If you had to listen to one album for the rest of your life, what would it be?

CS: Bob Dylan in general ( I can not choose an album it is too difficult !)

Your best childhood memory?

CS: When we went camping with my parents and two brothers.

Do you have any hidden talents?

CS : Not really ! I played ringette . I was very athletic in high school.

What song best describes you?

CS : I think “Don ‘t Think Twice It’s Alright” by Bob Dylan represents me. Not necessarily in words but just in simplicity. I ‘m pretty easy as a person.

Finally, is there something you want to say to all those who support you in your journey to The Voice France or supported you from the very beginning?

CS: A big THANK YOU because it’s really amazing all the love I receive. I am very blessed and happy.
