Toronto based Hip Hop/ R&B artist, Melanie Durrant has released a video for her single, “Gone”. The song is about being the main love interest, when everyone else is second best, with lyrics such as “He may bring you flowers, time to time, but not before I get mine”, and “He only wants you when I’m gone”.
Melanie, not only starred in the “Gone” video, she also sat in the director’s chair along side of Slakah The Beatchild to make sure her vision was a success.
The video fits the song perfectly, so I would say that her vision was definitely a success.
