Throwback Thursday – Lights

Drive My Soul, released on March 11, 2008, was the first single from Lights’ EP. It reached number 18 on the Canadian Top 100. The song was later released on her first full length album, The Listening.
Lights says that the song is about anything in your life that drives your souls and keeps you on the right path, something you can’t live without. She also has said that she had the title for Drive My Soul before she had any lyrics.
I’m Tara and I’m a graphic designer from Newfoundland. I am very fortunate to live in a city where there is a ton of amazing musicians. I’ve grown very fond of the local music scene in St. John’s and some of my favorite bands are ones I’ve met through going to local shows.
