Tuned In Tuesday – Rocketrocketship

This week for Tuned In Tuesday I thought I’d take you on a little trip to the east coast of the country to the province of Newfoundland & Labrador. Now, you may have heard of a little band called RocketRocketShip. If you haven’t, you should really listen to them. The first song I heard from them is “Over My Dead Body”, which is off of their album ‘Your Best Kept Secret’ from 2012.

This song is what made me start listening to the band more and more until the point where I am now, where I know a majority of the words from their album and their newer song, “Here’s To Us”. If you haven’t heard of this band, I highly suggest you check out their stuff because they will not disappoint you. Not only is their album amazing, but they are great live too.

I’m a Toronto girl born and raised but have been living in Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick since 2010. Music and writing are my two passions, so what better place for me to be than a writer with Canadian Beats? I have been writing for the blog since May of 2013 and have had so many great experiences because of it. Concerts are definitely my favourite place to be, especially when you’re right against the barricade and can feel the energy from the band and the crowd, everyone singing the same lyrics and moving to the music.
