Montreal born artist, Jerzee “Tha Icon” is part of the new generation of artists who fuse multiple genres together to create his own style of music.
He combines melodic vocals, high energy rhymes with an electric rock sound to create his own musical hybrid that seeks to transcend hip-hop culture to a mainstream audience.
Although born in Canada, Jerzee was raised in the US at an early age, but has since returned to Canada. Over the years, he has performed on the same stage as many well known artists, Nelly, Pitbull and Trey Songz to name a few.
His single, “I Can’t Breathe” is doing great on charts across Canada and his new single “Alive” is being released to radio today (July 29, 2013) and to iTunes on August 6. Be sure to check it out.
