Don’t have plans for Canada Day weekend? Well you’ll want to make some for this! Happening on Canada Day weekend (June 28th to July 1st) in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island is the Big Red Music Festival. Held on the New Charlottetown Event Grounds right by the beautiful waterfront is the weekend long festival featuring some amazing music!

Sunday, June 30th – Great Big Sea
You do not want to miss this weekend of amazing music! Tickets and all other information is available at http://bigredfest.ca/ . There are different options available for tickets. You can get single day passes (price varies from $35 to $75) with a VIP option, as well as a weekend pass that starts at just $79! Children under the age of 5 get in for free. VIP tickets get you access to exclusive areas and perks!
But that’s not all. Oh no. That is far from all. Not only is this a weekend of great music, there are also many family activities and on Canada Day you can witness the biggest fireworks display east of Montreal!
Still not convinced? Well if you are coming from anywhere else this also gives you the opportunity to explore Prince Edward Island in all of its beauty. And keep in mind the weekend after the Big Red Music Festival is the Cavendish Beach Music Festival, full of amazing country acts located in Cavendish on the North Shore of the Island.
