The Nashville Diaries – Interview with Brea Lawrenson

Nashville, TN is THE home of Country Music! Many of our fellow Canadian artists and songwriters live and work there, while still calling Canada home. On this recent trip, I had the opportunity to connect with many of them and, in a handful of cases, we were able to catch up over an interview. Stay tuned over the next week or so to see some of these and other highlights from her visit.

Brea Lawrenson is a singer/songwriter from the Ottawa Valley in Ontario, who was in Nashville to do some recording at the highly acclaimed Beaird Music Group Recording Studio on her upcoming sophomore album. Lawrenson’s new album will be titled Demons, from a song by the same name. This will be the first single from the album and is due out in April 2018 with the album to follow shortly after.

We chat about the new album, single, some up-coming Summer tour dates and much more.

Hello everyone! My name is Linda and I have been a fan of Canadian Music for as long as I can remember. That counts for way too many decades than I want to admit to! I have three primary passions in my life, music, photography and writing. When I can combine them all, I feel I am right where I should be. Though I can appreciate all genres of music, my particular favourite is Country. Canadian Country is moving in leaps and bounds. I love how it is progressing and I’m thankful that I can be a small part of it.
