Westward Music Festival announces first round of performers

The annual Vancouver based festival, Westward Music Festival has announced the first round of programming for the 2018 edition. The festival will take place across multiple venues in the heart of the downtown core from September 13-16.

This year’s lineup features British singer, songwriter, composer, producer and author Blood Orange, two-time Grammy nominee Kali Uchis, critically acclaimed rhythmic pop star Kelela and YouTube sensation Poppy.

As far as Canadian talent goes, they have announced RHYE, METZ, Mike & Bone, Close Talker and Odds to name a few.

“The MRG Concerts team and myself are very much looking forward to the 2018 edition of Westward. Due to the incredible support from Vancouver over the past year, we have been able to grow the festival to include more shows and venues, all while keeping with our mission to provide the city’s music fans the memorable experiences they are looking for,” says Matt Gibbons, President / Founder of MRG Music Group.
