Four stellar Ontario based bands hit the stage at The Horseshoe Tavern last Saturday to give fans a dose of pure rock music!

First up, Hot Lips, a rock/dance band from Toronto made up of band members: Keith (Drums), Alex (Bass, Violin) and Karli (Vox, Synth).

Ready The Prince are an alternative rock band also from Toronto were next to hit the stage. Ready The Prince consists of Stephen De Ciantis (Vocals, Bass), Daniel Prada (Guitar) and Jordan Ross (Drums).

Crown Lands: a blistering Rock Duo hailing from Oshawa, Ontario did not disappoint the awaiting fans. They are known for their highly energetic live show and incredibly full sound owed to their exhaustive multi-tasking. Cody Bowles drums and sings, while multi-instrumentalist Kevin Comeau plays guitar and even manages to play keyboards with his feet.

Last Bullet was the last band of the night. They take great pride in knowing exactly what it takes to get asses shaking, fists pumping and heads banging. Praised for their electrifying live performances, this is a band on a mission filled with conviction, forged by a deep passion to become the very embodiment of rock n’ roll itself. From their perspective, the pursuit of a career in music is akin to war. The stage is a battlefield, leather is their armour, instruments their weapons, music their ammo and failure the enemy.

Hi! My name is Melissa, I am a portrait and live music photographer from Toronto. Originally from Malton, Mississauga. I recently decided to combine my love of going to shows and photography – and I love it! It really gives me the opportunity to meet so many great people, and I’ve made some awesome friends along the way. I enjoy discovering new music and photographing the local bands – who doesn’t want a photo of themselves looking like a rock star? I first started going to shows when I was 16, and I saw My Chemical Romance about 7 times before they broke up. My favourite band of all time is Billy Talent. You can usually find me at most hard rock shows, or at ComiCon and FanExpo. I’m a lover of all things sci-fi, fantasy, and Halloween! And also cats, I can talk forever about cats.
