Denny DeMarchi and Marta Shpak release their debut music video

Recording artists Denny DeMarchi and Marta Shpak release their debut music video, “Christmas Day”.  Filmed in Canada and Ukraine by Francis Coral Mellon and Volodymyr Mussur, the song touches the heart for the Christmas and New Year Holiday Season. The music was written by Denny DeMarchi and produced by Igor Balan. Video production by Volodymyr Mussur.

Denny and Marta are working on an album and this is their first official song from that project.

Marta Shpak is a folk-pop singer from Ukraine who is well known in her country and by Ukrainians around the world. She has performed many times in Canada at different festivals and music events.

Denny DeMarchi is a Canadian multi-instrumental musician who is a talented keyboardist and prolific singer-songwriter. He is also a guitarist, backing vocalist, audio engineer and record producer. DeMarchi is notable as a rock concert tour musician for the well-known Irish band The Cranberries during their reunion tour (2009–11). He is equally notable for performing with Dolores O’Riordan on both TV and radio internationally as her keyboardist and guitarist during her Solo world tour in 2007. DeMarchi is also known for his role as the keyboardist who played the signature keyboard notes for the popular 1990 No. 1 Billboard hit song ‘More Than Words Can Say’ by the band Alias, which features his brother, Steve on guitar.

I shoot live music performances and concerts. I love the excitement of entering a venue, knowing that I’ll be photographing a concert and enjoying the energy of the crowd. There’s nothing like being in a venue and looking at the expressions on the faces of people who are all transfixed by the talent onstage. I shoot about 120 shows each year, averaging 2 bands per show, as well as several all-day and weekend festivals in and around Southern Ontario. From the large venues to very small ones, bright lights or barely lit stages, I hope that my photos capture the enjoyment the artists have in doing what they love to do.
