Sun K recently released their newest single and video “Back to Massachusetts” from their forthcoming record Bleeding Hearts. The song is a swaggering psychedelic-rock tune showcasing the band’s tight rhythm’s, unique harmonies and singer Kristian Montano’s characteristic drawl. Shot at Toronto’s Trinity Bellwoods and BATL (Backyard Axe Throwing League), the video is a fun look back at the summer that showcases the band’s sense of humour.

“The directors came to us with an idea to do a slow-motion water balloon fight with dyed water,” says Montano. “Next thing I know I’m walking out of Dufferin Mall with five unicorn onesies.”

The track was produced by Cone McCaslin (The Strumbellas, Sum 41), mixed by Dave Schiffman (PUP, Blood Orange, Johnny Cash), and mastered by Howie Weinberg (Nirvana, Future Islands, Spoon).

Hear the track live at their upcoming 2018 show dates:
Feb 2 – London – London Music Hall
Feb 3 – Hamilton – Mills Hardware
Feb 8 – Toronto – Horseshoe Tavern
Feb 9 – Oshawa – Moustache Club
Feb 10 – Burnstown – The Neat
