Genre: Alt-Country/ Folk/ Alternative

Kenora, ON-based singer/songwriter, Mike Procyshyn & Lonesome Boxcar released a new album, “Mixtape (for an old flame)” on October 20, 2017. The album features eleven tracks, full of relatable situations and stories we can all connect with, even those who aren’t normal listeners.

The opening track, “Mixtape” is a beautiful song and a great opener to this well-compilated album, a typical view or reason for creating a mixtape. It’s great!. Followed by, “Parents Clothes” which is a great upbeat, fun song talking about growing up and becoming our parents. “Holy Ghosts” is another great track, it is catchy and fun. I really enjoyed this one and I believe fans and new listeners will as well.

This album features at least one song that everyone will enjoy.  One thing that is for certain, you know by listening to this album that they are a talented band and will acquire a lot of new fans with this release.

I insist that everyone takes a listen to this album, it is intriguing and compelling. You will love it, every step of the way!
