The Canadian Country Music Association® (CCMA®) announced today that Franck Boucheraud will receive the 2017 Leonard T. Rambeau International Award during an industry awards ceremony during PotashCorp Country Music Week in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
Boucheraud, who resides in Orleans, France, is a Talent Buyer for the American Tours Festival in Tours, France since 2008. He really wanted to elevate Canadian country music artists at the festival so he made the conscious effort to implement Canadian Music Night and exclusively featuring Canadian acts.
Ted Ellis, Chair of the CCMA Board of Directors has this to say about Boucheraud.

Since the Canadian Music Night began, Boucheraud has worked diligently to support both up and coming and established Canadian artists. He makes a point to travel to Canada for Country Music Week every year to scout out the latest success stories and acts with potential. The American Tours Festival has featured Canadian acts as Gord Bamford, Brett Kissel, One More Girl, The Washboard Union as well as many others many more.
