Audio Interview – The Lovelocks

The 11th Annual Manitoulin Country Fest is now in the history books. Great Lakes Country 103(Little Current, ON) does a fantastic job organizing and making this event run as smoothly as possible. This year, 15 acts graced the MCF stage over three days. There were also two cruises, hosted by North Channel Cruise Lines, to take part in – the Wednesday night Fundraiser Dinner Cruise, which this year supported Manitoulin Community Living & Special Olympics; and the Friday Songwriter Showcase.

The Lovelocks gave us the quickest interview of the weekend, but we managed to make it count, chatting about their trip up to Little Current and what they consider to be their festival “Must Haves”. Check out our interview with these 2017 CCMA Roots Artist or Group of the Year nominees!

Hello everyone! My name is Linda and I have been a fan of Canadian Music for as long as I can remember. That counts for way too many decades than I want to admit to! I have three primary passions in my life, music, photography and writing. When I can combine them all, I feel I am right where I should be. Though I can appreciate all genres of music, my particular favourite is Country. Canadian Country is moving in leaps and bounds. I love how it is progressing and I’m thankful that I can be a small part of it.
