Julie & The Wrong Guys have recently released “Love & Leaving”, the second single from their upcoming self-titled album which is set to drop on September 8th via Dine Alone Records.  The band features Julie Doiron of Eric’s Trip and Eamon McGrath along with members of Toronto hardcore band, Cancer Bats.

Julie & The Wrong Guys – the album –  marks a return to heavy and loud music for lead singer Doiron, following the break up of her former band, Eric’s Trip.  Despite producing some softer and quieter songs in her solo career, she is excited to be back to the genre that helped to shape her as a musician.

“”Love and Leaving”” is about admitting out loud that you are ready to actually learn and you are actually ready to love but maybe you still recognize that you might be a little bit afraid to actually do it.  – Doiron
