Sleepless Nights returns with new EP and single

After a long six years, Sleepless Nights have returned. The band has announced their new EP, Keith Hamilton will be released on September 15 via Acadian Embassy and Forward Music Group. Today they have released the brand new single, “Crystal Mountains, which you can hear above. If the single is any indication of what’s to come, I am certainly anxious to hear more. When asked about why the EP is named Keith Hamilton, Aaron Wallace comments,

“Keith is our undeserved secret weapon. He’s our Bez. He’s the DJ Khaled of indie rock. He’s a fashion icon to future generations.”

Keith Hamilton is a fixture in the Toronto music scene, Hamilton booked the Halifax band’s first show outside of the Maritimes, and through the years, Sleepless Nights toured with several of Hamilton’s acts including The Postage Stamps, The Diableros, Hamilton Tradition Company and Beams.  He has been there from the beginning, and has tirelessly stuck by the band as a booker, a musician, an actor, and a friend. So of course, it seemed only fitting to name the release after him!

On top of this news, the band will also be embarking on a series of tour dates throughout Eastern Canada, see dates below.

September 14 – Fredericton, NB @ The Capital (Harvest Jazz & Blues)
September 15 – Yarmouth, NS @ The Red Knight
September 16 – Halifax, NS @ The Seahorse Tavern (early show!)
