Vancouver’s CRNKSHFT had recenrltly dropped their new self-titled EP. Which can be heard here. Since forming in 2015 have dropped their debut album and follow up EP, have won “best-metal song” at the Academia Awards in LA, and continue to push boundaries. The band prides themselves on the raw emotion in the lyrics. Mixing styles of metal with more melodic sounds. The band has been compared to Shinedown, Breaking Benjamin and Buck Cherry.
If you want a leave it on stage band with an open and raw presence that will have you fist pumping, head banging and singing along to the band’s anthems. The band will be hitting their first cross Canada tour this September (see dates below). Including a kick-off show on August 18 at the Hi Society Music Festival in Kelowna.
