Montreal psych-rock group Elephant Stone has just announced an international tour that will take them to Europe and then the United States. The tour is in support of their fourth full-length album titled Ship of Fools, which was released just last year.  The band—featuring frontman Rishi Dhir, guitarist Gabriel Lambert and drummer Miles Dupire—has toured with acts such as Beck, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, and The Horrors. Their “cosmos-searching live shows” truly display their talent and Dhir’s soulful lyrics.

This is a Canadian group definitely worth seeing on their final tour of 2017. If you aren’t in Europe or the US, they also have 3 Quebec dates coming up next week, as well as one in September to begin their tour!

August 11th – Quebec City, QC at Le Cercle
August 12th – Gaspe, QC at Festival au Bout du Monde
August 13th – Sainte-Anne-des-Monts, QC at Sea Shack
September 1st – Rouyn Noranda, QC at Petit Theatre de Rouyn Noranda (with A Place to Bury Strangers )

All tour dates can be seen here (https://elephantstone.ca/shows), as well as links to purchase tickets.

I’m Shayla, and I was born in Saskatoon but moved to Halifax in 2013 for University. I’m currently studying for my degree in Interdisciplinary Design (focusing mostly on graphic design), after switching from studying digital and film photography for about 2 years. I love everything about music and how it has the ability to bring so many people together from across the country and even the world. Most of my friends that I regularly talk to and hang out with I’ve met through us sharing the same love for bands and artists! My passion for music is one of the reasons I moved East to pursue a design degree, as I would love to do graphic design within the Canadian music industry one day.
