Calgary Stampede 2017 – Photo Review – Corb Lund

The last day of the Calgary Stampede saw Corb Lund on the Nashville North stage. The Alberta boy closed out Nashville North with some old time, story telling country music. Corb Lund is known for his Alberta pride and songs reflecting just that. Before focusing on country music Lund founded the punk band The Smalls, but since 2014 has been performing his country music side all over the country. A real cowboy, country music seems to be where he belongs, and Alberta loves Corb Lund.

I’m Heather Young. I am 29 years old and from Calgary. I’m the mother of a 6 year old boy and I work with children as a developmental assistant. I have always had a passion for writing and music so working for Canadian Beats is right up my alley. I love every genre of music as long as it catches my attention, it’s on my playlist, from rap to country. When I’m not working or writing I love to spend time outside with my son playing games or going for walks.
