Vancouver-based retro pop band, The Faceplants are releasing a brand new single, “Who I am Inside”, today (via iTunes and Spotify).  Our own Nicole Wolfe spoke with lead singer, Daniel Botch, this week about the single, which they are calling the most important song they have ever written.  Botch shares details about their song-writing process and discusses why he writes music.  He also shared the band’s plans for the rest of the year and hinted at an album release in the not-too-distant future!  Be sure to get your very own copy of the song today!

Connect with The Faceplants:

I’m Nicole, a biology teacher by day, but my life revolves around music. I’m that girl that you will always find with the concert t-shirt on and ear buds in. It is rare that you find me without some type of music playing in the background. I connect all of my life experiences to music. It truly has its own language in my heart. There is nothing more exciting than taking in all that a concert has to offer. I love to support local Canadian acts and attend as many shows that I can.
