Photo Review – The Middle Coast

Who: The Middle Coast
When: Friday, May 19, 2017
Where: Dakota Tavern, Toronto ON

I was fortunate that I got the chance to check out The Middle Coast this past Friday at the Dakota Tavern in Toronto. It was my first time shooting this band and my first time shooting in the venue – and the two suited each other well. Skilled musicians playing great songs with great hooks. You’ll have at least one of their songs stuck in your head after you leave a show and that’s not a bad thing.

While I was scheduled to shoot both The Middle Coast and Johnson Crook, events beyond this humble photographer’s control made me miss Johnson Crook. But thankfully, they came back on stage at the end of the night for an encore performance with The Middle Coast. Sorry I missed their opening show but I’m glad I got to see them afterwards.
