PREMIERE – Bonnie Trash releases single, “True Love (Eat Me)”

Guelph, ON based duo, Bonnie Trash is made up of two sisters, Sarafina Troy and Emmalia Vash Bortolon-Vettor. The duo is about to release their EP, Ezzelini’s Dead on June 9, 2017 via Fuckpop. Here at Canadian Beats, we’re happy to premiere the first single from the EP, “True Love (Eat Me)” which consists of a dark, grungy sound that will keep you intrigued and wanting to hear more from Bonnie Trash.

We asked the sisters what the song is about, they responded “The lust to consume.”

When asked what the song means to them, the answer was:

” I want to consume more when all I feel is disconnection. Maybe it is my fault for not working harder. But truly, is there ever an instance where it is facile to obtain endless intense connection? Infinite bandwidth, amplification through synchronicity…my my. I love you so much that I could eat you.”
