Tim Hicks Announces New Live Album and Show with Dean Brody

Tim Hicks just announced he’s releasing his first live album on May 19, 2017. Hicks, always been commended on his energetic stage presence,  brings us six live tracks of his biggest hits and fan favourites. It even includes the viral hit “Stronger Beer”, which ironically defines us Canadians in the best of ways.

“I’m so excited for this release,” shares Tim Hicks.  “For me, the live show has always been a huge part of who I am as a performer and having captured a little bit of our “Shake These Walls Tour” in a digital release is really cool.”

As his popularity as a country star has grown over the past few years, his stage presence has played a monumental role in the development of him as an artist. He’s been praised by media as “one to watch”, as he’s always able to create unique moments for the fans and has the ability to fire up any crowd that’s put in front of him. Hicks has already earned five certified singles in addition to his two JUNO Award nominations, and the 2014 CCMA award for Rising Star.

Already on tour this summer, Hick turns up the heat a notch with the announcement that he will be joining Dean Brody on August 24th, on the Budweiser Stage (formerly known as the Molson Amp for those who have been living under a rock). He’ll also return to Ottawa for Bluesfest as support for Tom Petty and will once again headline the annual Summer Throwdown concert celebrating Canada’s 150th Birthday on July 1 in Wasaga, ON. But let’s be real, that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Check out a list of tour dates below!
