Care to introduce yourself to our readers?

Hello, My name is Lily Frost.
I have been working as a singer/ songwriter and performer for 25 years. I have 12 albums and am a mother of 2 and am recently separated.

Tell us a bit about your music and writing style
Music means everything to me. It is an outlet for so much creative expression. It creates drama and stories with sound and connects to people and communicates on a different level. Writing has become more of a craft for me lately and I enjoy that challenge. I study and write with some masters down in Nashville and I love that
a lot.

Do you have any upcoming shows? For someone who has yet to see you live, how would you explain your live performance?
My next show is Thursday April 27th at Lula Lounge. It’s the launch of a concert series called Big City Social and willoffer swing dance lessons, live Burlesque and swing performances, a rockabilly band called the Millwinders who will perform at 8:30pm, I will perform with my Gentleman Callers at 10pm and release a single called Rebound Bitch and screen the video which was shot in Joshua tree California. DJ David Faris will spin vinyl for the night and Anne Marshall will be doing onsite matchmaking and sex and love advice.
Please dress up and enjoy the cocktail specials. Tix are 15$ at Www.lilyfrost.com
My live performance is hoppin’, sexy, swinging and energetic. We just aim to get everyone up dancing and usually succeed.
