Photo Review – Hey Rosetta! Holiday Show

Who: Hey Rosetta! with Hannah Georgas
Where: St. John’s Convention Centre, St. John’s, NL<
When: December 17th, 2016<
Hey Rosetta’s Christmas shows in St. John’s are always a huge deal and this year was no different. There were three shows this year, including a matinee on Saturday afternoon that was open to all ages and all proceeds went to local non-profit, Choices for Youth. I’ve only ever heard good things about Hannah Georgas, and I can see why. She opened all three shows and she was fantastic. Then Hey Rosetta hit the stage and got everyone in the Christmas spirit with a mix of Christmas tunes and their originals, including everyones favourite Carry Me Home. They even had Army, Air and Sea cadets join them to really make it feel like Christmas. Check out the photos from Saturday afternoon.

I’m Tara and I’m a graphic designer from Newfoundland. In 2004, I found out who Hedley were are they became my first favorite band and 11 years later they still have that top spot for me. I am very fortunate to live in a city where there is a ton of amazing musicians. I’ve grown very fond of the local music scene in St. John’s and some of my favorite bands are ones I’ve met through going to local shows.
