Videoman announce Ontario and Quebec tour dates

For Montreal-based band, Videoman, the line between song and story is often blurred. After touring their debut album, Colourblind, with performances at Pop Montreal, Canadian Music Week, and The Horseshoe Tavern, the band caught the attention of artist and producer, Patrick Krief [Automanic]. Videoman began work on what was set to be their definitive record; spending meticulous hours in studio, bouncing from Montreal’s iconic Mixart to Krief’s intimate home studio. The end result is their soon-to-be-released sophomore album, which includes the captivating singles, Salt and Wine and Adeline. The group will share their new music with audiences in Ontario and Quebec this fall, with shows in Ottawa, Toronto, Quebec City and Montreal (details below).

By using their backgrounds in opera, literature, and creative writing, the four-piece band strives for music that resonates on a personal level. Obsessed with bridging a cultural gap between opera and indie, Pasquale D’Alessio, a trained opera singer and classical composer who was a resident artist with Opéra de Montréal, employs both haunting and melancholic melodies reminiscent of Radiohead and The National.

With an explosive live set, and live vocals that are unlike anything else in the indie scene, Videoman is not to be missed!
