Revive the Rose are a four piece rock band from Welland, Ontario.

Members consist of Andrew Colonico – Drums/Lead Vocal,  Peter Antoniou – Guitar/Vocals, Matt Cookson – Guitar/Vocals, Garrett Mullin – Bass.  The band have already opened for such talents as The Glorious Sons, Danko Jones and recently The Lazys.  Just a few days ago they even opened up for Randy and Mr. Lahey’s show in Welland.

Their EP Potato is an energy packed trip from start to finish, I enjoyed each catchy song.  The first song Gold Digger, would be something I could definitely hear on the radio.  Actually I think almost all of the songs on this EP could be singles.  Track 3, Cinder Block was probably one of my favorite songs. This band has very strong vocals, great tone and range in each song.  The other one I quite enjoyed was Live at Milani’s, with some great poetic lyrics, and a little more of a mellow side.  This EP offers a great selection of songs, and I hear that they are currently working on some new material.  So check this out, but keep your ears open for new music from them in the future.
