Photo Review – Lucknow Music in the Fields

Photo Credit: Linda Heldman & Bernice Gray

One of the finest weekends in country music took place in Lucknow, Ontario from August 25-27. Of course, I am speaking of Lucknow’s Music in the Fields. The festival rang in it’s eighth year and as per usual, it was a community driven event. Kinsmen put it on, and the proceeds are put back into the community, such as the hospital, new Zamboni for the recreation centre, and more!

Something else that stands out about Lucknow’s Music in the Fields is how well we were all treated, as media. We felt welcomed and at home in the fields, and I’m sure the artists all felt the same way.

Now, let’s get on to some photos of the weekend, and if you’re able to make it to their 2017 edition of Lucknow’s Music in the Fields, don’t miss out! We’ll see you there!

Hello everyone! My name is Linda and I have been a fan of Canadian Music for as long as I can remember. That counts for way too many decades than I want to admit to! I have three primary passions in my life, music, photography and writing. When I can combine them all, I feel I am right where I should be. Though I can appreciate all genres of music, my particular favourite is Country. Canadian Country is moving in leaps and bounds. I love how it is progressing and I’m thankful that I can be a small part of it.
