Canadian folk artist, Bob Rylett released an album entitled “Moon” a while back, which features thirteen full length tracks. Bob won first place in the 2014 LadyLake Music Awards, and was #1 on the Indepedant Corner Winter 2015 Top 20 Showcase.

The album starts with “On a Delicate Moon” which is the perfect start, and pulls the listener in to see what else is to come. I immediately knew that the second track, “Skinnyblaze” would be one of my favourites, just by the beat and I couldn’t help sing along.

As the album plays on, I quickly realized that Bob possesses a talent for intertwining genres to create a unique sound that is highly appealing. “Somebody Hold Me Tight” is another that stood out to me, it mixes folk, country and even rock.

Whether you’re looking for an upbeat track, or a slower one you will find what you’re looking for on this album. Fans of all genres will definitely be able to find a song or two that appeals to them, and if you’re a fan of many genres, I can honestly say you will more than likely enjoy the whole album!
