Parisian-born, Montreal based Kensico has released a brand new album, “White Sage”. The album is a collaboration of Kensico with her musical partner, French producer/ songwriter Daran.

I will start by saying that this is not the type of music I tend to listen to, but that doesn’t mean I didn’t enjoy it. The third song, “Hallee Road” was the first song that pulled me in, the vocals are almost intoxicating, and I did find myself drifting away into the lyrics.

“Army of Skulls” is the seventh track on the album, and I thoroughly enjoyed this song, the rhythm and the vocals go so perfectly together, creating a mesmerizing sound that is hard to explain to someone who has yet to listen to it.

This is the perfect album to listen to if you want to relax and get lost in the music, as each song is hauntingly beautiful and was able to captivate me.

Rating: 3.5/5
