Shoot The Moon is a rock band based in Orillia, Ontario. The band consists of Shawn (Woody) Woodhouse (Lead Guitar/ Vocals), Lance Troian (Bass/ Vocals), Phil Smith (Percussion), and Don Dumas (Guitar/Vocals). The EP has been described as “having gritty guitar laden hooks with melodic soloing and a solid rhythm section to top it off.”

I gave it a listen, and then another and was quite pleased with what I heard. The two tracks that stood out from the EP were “Can’t Understand” and “Part Of Life”. The sound of these two songs in particular radiate a classic rock vibe, which I enjoyed. “Part Of Life” had me singing along right away, and I highly recommend this song to anyone.

“Friends” also deserves a mention as it has a high energy sound and intoxicating beat. These attributes paired with the solid vocals and harmonizing make an altogether good song!

You may notice that there is another track available for listening on their reverbnation. The track entitled “I Want What You Got” is their newest single from their second album, which is called “The Second”, and I personally can’t wait to hear more from that album!
