Review – Kolony

Album: Sledge

Genre: Metal
Release Date: November 14, 2014

Montreal, QC is the home for metal band Kolony. Kolony is Reno (vocals, rhythm guitar), Maxxx (lead guitar), Antony (drums), Myk (Bass).

The album has 11 songs, Each song is very different then the rest, This album is something I can see myself listening to. I enjoyed the intro track “I Realized” because it showed what was in store for the rest of the album.

Every one of the songs had different elements to them which is very important in the music industry so not every song sounds the same. I personally could not pick favourites for this album because I enjoyed every song. If you are a metal fan I would suggest checking out this album.

Don’t forget to check out their video for Echoes.

Rating: 5/5

I’m Lindsay and I’m a Journalism student at Humber College in Toronto, ON. I am one of Canadian Beats newest writers, starting in October 2014. I’m a concert enthusiast and I enjoy going to local shows to support the music scene. I love to see the happiness on the bands as well as the fans faces. Music and writing has always been a huge passion of mine, I think being a dancer has a big part of that. I will more than likely see you at a concert so come say hi!
