Review – Peregrine Falls

By: Lindsay Newman

EP: Two Fish

Release Date: September 8. 2014

Vancouver, British Columbia is the home to free punk band Peregrine Falls. Gordon Grdina and Kenton Loewen is Peregrine Falls.

The EP has 5 songs and shows off their talent. The EP is a lot different then what people would be used to. Each song is different then the previous one and kept me listening the entire time. I enjoyed the violin that was used in “Gaza” which was different then the songs before which is why I was engaged in the EP the entire time.

Some of my favourites on the album were “Gaza”, “Demon Sparrow“ & “Finger Lakes”.

Rating: 3.5/5

I’m Lindsay and I’m a Journalism student at Humber College in Toronto, ON. I am one of Canadian Beats newest writers, starting in October 2014. I’m a concert enthusiast and I enjoy going to local shows to support the music scene. I love to see the happiness on the bands as well as the fans faces. Music and writing has always been a huge passion of mine, I think being a dancer has a big part of that. I will more than likely see you at a concert so come say hi!
