Street Pharmacy is a reggae-rock band from Welland, Ontario. You may recognize the name, if you are a regular reader of Canadian Beats, as this is not their first feature, and will surely not be their last.

The band previously released an EP entitled, “Alimony”, and you can read what we thought of that EP here: http://canadianbeats.wordpress.com/2013/09/24/review-street-pharmacy-alimony-ep/

Now onto the new EP, “Pharmanomics” which starts off strong with “To My High School Friends”, which is my favourite on this EP, it’s a comedic song that will get you laughing and thinking back. I don’t have to say too much about this song, because I don’t have to sell it, once you listen I’m sure you will love it.

The fourth track, “Waterslide” features Will Marr from IllScarlett and John Doherty from Trouble & Daughter, and there is a video for it, which was released in August 2013. You can see the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gjGjwhLcJCk

I am finding it hard to pick a few songs to talk about because I thoroughly enjoyed each of them, so all I will say is if you want to hear a totally unique blend of reggae, rock & pop then Street Pharmacy is for you.

Don’t hesitate to go buy “Pharmanomics” on iTunes now. It’s up for Pre-Sale as we speak, and for $3.99 I feel very strongly that you will get your money’s worth and more.
