Friday Playlist – Provinces PART 1

Friday Playlist - Provinces PART 1

One of the Canadian Beats writers, Tara came up with this idea. We were each assigned a province and we had to find 3 bands from our province and choose a song from each of them for our playlist. We will do the rest of the provinces next week, so be sure to look back!

Emily – Saskatchewan:

Semi-Golden Smile – Pirate Fridays
Feeling Good – The Sheepdogs
You Remind Me – Andy Shauf

Jenna – Ontario

Be Your Man – The Little Black Dress
Mulberry Love – Running Red Lights
Waterslide – Street Pharmacy feat. IllScarlett and Trouble & Daughter

Amanda – Newfoundland:

Here’s To Us – RocketRocketShip
Ordinary Day – Great Big Sea
Wonderizer – Chris Kirby

Tara – British Columbia:

Let’s Get Sentimental – Acres of Lions
Eve and Adam – Aivia
Just a Boy – On Call Heroes

Jeanette – Nova Scotia:

Diddy Dum – My Name Is Kay
Let You Down Again – Gloryhound
3 Foot Tall – Classified

I’m Jenna, and I am the founder and editor of Canadian Beats. I have had a strong love for Canadian music, which started with Hedley. I have a passion for promoting these talented Canadian bands and artists, and that’s how Canadian Beats came to be. I am so proud of what it has become over the last few years, with many talented music lovers and writers coming together to spread the word of Canada’s music.
