Acknowledge Acknowledge – The Motorleague

Acknowledge Acknowledge - The Motorleague

Recently signing to Sonic Records means that New Brunswick based band, The Motorleague finally get to release their long awaited album, Acknowledge Acknowledge. The official release date is Tuesday June 11th, but is streaming the album. Be sure to check out the link at the end of this post.
This past weekend I got to see The Motorleague not once, but twice in St. John’s. Not only do they put on a killer live show, they’re super friendly as well. They played a bunch of songs from Acknowledge Acknowledge including my personal favorite, North America (which, by the way, Don dedicated to me the second night I saw them!) and an older fan favorite Hymn For The Newly Departed. If you haven’t saw them live yet, you need to do yourself a favour and go to one of their shows if they come through your city! You won’t be disappointed, I promise.

I’m Tara and I’m a graphic designer from Newfoundland. In 2004, I found out who Hedley were are they became my first favorite band and 11 years later they still have that top spot for me. I am very fortunate to live in a city where there is a ton of amazing musicians. I’ve grown very fond of the local music scene in St. John’s and some of my favorite bands are ones I’ve met through going to local shows.
