Throwback Thursday: Clumsy by Our Lady Peace

Released in January of 1997, Clumsy marked the second studio album for Our Lady Peace. It’s also their most successful album to date, recieving diamond status in Canada (1 million copies sold) as well as platinum status in the United States. Lead singer, Raine Maida, says there was a carnival atmosphere with this album and many of the lyrics he wrote were set at the circus or carnival. Also, it was the first album with their new bass player, who did not receive any songwriting credits on the album but it was said that he influenced the sound on Clumsy.
